Klonghae Floating Market is a must-visit for many who travel to the bustling city named Hat Yai in Southern Thailand. During a recent trip with some friends from South Korea to Hat Yai, the author of this entry paid a short visit of only about an hour there due to the tight schedule and snapped some photos for future visitors’ reference.

Thai Hat Yai Klonghae Floating Market was established in December 2008 and opens on Friday to Sunday from 3:00 to 9:00pm Thailand time. It has since become a hot spot for locals as well as tourists to find delicious food to eat. Boat traders sell a great varieties of choices from grilled fish to noodle/kwuai teoh soup to bamboo rice to various iced drinks and to many to be named. (more…)

Here are a few photos of Golden Budda, Goddess of Mercy, and Guan Gong among others in Hatyai Hill Kuan Yin Temple, Songkhla province, Thailand. Hatyai Hill Kuan Yin Temple is located on the top of a hill in Hatyai Municipality Park. These images were just taken days ago when I traveled there for a Chinese Lunar New Year holiday and now released under Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike 3.0 License.
