Recently Fujian Dongshan Youth Teochew Troupe was invited to perform this traditional art in Malaysia.

I went to watch their shows when the artists coming faraway from China made the performance for the people of Taman Lip Sin Chinese community in Penang, as parts of its Ghost Month* celebration activities. Thai Hat Yai Klonghae Floating Market [PICTURES]

Klonghae Floating Market is a must-visit for many who travel to the bustling city named Hat Yai in Southern Thailand. During a recent trip with some friends from South Korea to Hat Yai, the author of this entry paid a short visit of only about an hour there due to the tight schedule and snapped some photos for future visitors’ reference.

Thai Hat Yai Klonghae Floating Market was established in December 2008 and opens on Friday to Sunday from 3:00 to 9:00pm Thailand time. It has since become a hot spot for locals as well as tourists to find delicious food to eat.
