Xunlei (迅雷), or Thunder, is the most popular download manager and torrent client on the Windows-based PCs in China. Like quite some other Chinese applications, Xunlei does not have a version for MACs. This situation is soon to be ended, because a Xunlei employee by the name Haibin is developing Xunlei for Mac as a pet project. Today his colleague Qiang Yiwen posed the first UI (see picture above) of Xunlei for Mac on the internet and it immediately attracted the interest from a lot of Chinese internet users. However, Yiwen said in his post an official release of Xunlei for Mac may have to wait until the second half of this year because at present Haibin solely works on the software. via bmwmengwei Sina Weibo
