AirPrint, the wireless printing first introduced by Apple Inc. on its iPad, has since become available to iPhone and iPod Touch too, after a recent iOS 4.2. update. Currently, there are only 11 AirPrint-enabled printers, all from the electronics giant HP.

No worries! There are a lot of genius who are figuring out solutions or have already found ways for iPad,  iPhone, or iPod Touch user who owns none of these printers.

My housemate bought an economic printer, namely Xerox Phaser 3124 printer, a few months ago for her netbook Samsung N220 with Windowns 7 Basic as OS.

I don’t have a printer, so whenever I need to print some paperwork, I asked for her help to print after sending the files to her via Skype’s File Transfer.

Days ago, my housemate embarked on a two-week trip to Cambodia to visit Angkor Wat, so I borrowed her Xerox Phaser 3124 to put at my room in case I am to have something print out.

When setting up the printer on my iMac, I just realized its driver is only Windows OS friendly. Naturally, I turned to Google for a search of “Xerox Phaser 3124 Printer driver for Mac.” Not to my disappointment, I found the solution.

Among some unique features of Google’s Gmail service is its Archive function. As Gmail offers a gigantic capacity of 7 Gigabytes and still counting, it’s unnecessary for its users to simply delete mails for the storage limit concern.

Rather, they can archive those mails and make them hide from the inbox. The advantage by doing this is the archived mails are still searchable within your Gmail account and can be found in the All Mail folder.

For the Macintosh users who use Mac OS’s Mail as the mail client for Gmail, they can do the archiving TOO! Then, how to do? (more…)
