Kong Yansong who? Kong Yansong, with twin sister Kong Yaozhu, exploded with the extreme popularity across Chinese forums since 2009 for their long legs.
Kong Yansong, self called Kong Xiaosong, is a student from Beijing Sports University, specializing in 400m. She stands 175cm tall, with her legs being 117cm (measuring from the bellybutton) that’s double of her upper body.
On the opening ceremony of 2008 Beijing Olympics, Kong Yansong, as a field staff on the event, was first noticed for her slender legs. Then Chinese netizens wildly spread Kong’s photos across the online forum. In March 2009, in an online competition of Most Beautiful Legs at MOP.com, she unsurprisingly won the first prize under the support of many netizens.
Instantly, Kong Yansong became an internet sensation and attracted the attention from the model agencies. She eventually turned to be a model. Her popularity also brought fame to her twin sister Kong Yaozhu, who has the similar body and legs length. The twin sisters went on to be called “pretty legs sisters” and had since been featured on numerous print ads.
An intimate videos scandal earlier this year cost former No. 1 car model Shoushou‘s chance to represent any car brands at April’s Beijing Auto Show. The incident more or less gave Kong Yansong a chance to grab more attention from the media when she was to appear on an auto show.
That truly happened! Not long after Beijing Auto Show was launched on morning of April 23, photos of Kong clad in leopard bikini standing in front of her represented car began sweeping many Chinese forums. But among those pictures, some clearly showed Kong Yansong’s not perfect face which was lumpy (see picture above, scroll down for more). Some a netizen (jokingly) blamed Photoshop [which was used to doctor Kong' ad pictures] for not able to let people to see a true her.
Oh, it sounds Kao Yansong is to face a revolt of Chinese internet users.
