Apple Exec Introduces iOS4.3 Nitro JavaScript Engine Safari Performance

Along with the launch of iPad 2 last week, Apple brought up iOS 4.3 and promised a release date on March 11. Today two days ahead of schedule, Apple officially released iOS 4.3, the update of iOS 4.2 which brings enhanced Safari performance with Nitro JavaScript engine, Home Sharing stream media in iTunes, the option of the Pad’s side switch as an orientation lock, and WiFi hotspot for GSM iPhone 4.

Owners of GSM iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, iPod Touch 3rd- and 4th-generation, or iPad can update their i-gadgets by connecting them to iTunes and clicking the “Check for Update” button on the Summary page.

Stephen Colbert Wants an iPad 2!

Posted on Mar. 08, 2011 by Fisher in Gadgets

Stephen Colbert had a skit for Apple’s recently launched iPad 2 at last night’s Colbert Report on Comedy Central. From the episode, it sounded Colbert was desperate for the latest Apple’s gadget, even though iPad 2′s A5 dual core processor allows it to “not run Flash nine times faster.” Hilarious! via Tuaw
