Rapper Lil Wayne, photos below, is a free man now! Lil Wayne, aka Weezy, is out of jail after serving eight months for his criminal gun possession conviction in the NYC’s main prison complex Rikers Island today November 4, 2010.

Mar 09, 2010 - New York, New York, USA - Rapper LIL WAYNE has been sentenced to a year in prison after pleading guilty to gun possession. The charges were linked to his arrest in 2007 when a gun was found on his tour bus. According to reports, Weezy, whose original name is Dwayne Carter Jr. was released from Rikers Island Thursday morning. “I was never scared, worried, nor bothered by the situation.” The I’m Not A Human Being star wrote in a post title The End of A Long Journey on weezythankyou.com one day before his jail release.
